A local crew, working under its own name
Garage Door Repair Boise is a veteran-owned business serving homeowners across Boise, Meridian, Nampa, Eagle and the rest of the Treasure Valley. We repair, service and install residential garage doors and openers — and we do it under our own name and our own Idaho registration, RCE# 8081607, which appears on our signage, our trucks and every invoice we write.
That matters more in this trade than it should have to. Garage door repair has a reputation for surprise pricing and for parts that did not need replacing. We built this business to be the opposite of that. Being local is the reason why: the reputation we earn here is the only advertising that counts.
What we work on
- Broken torsion and extension springs
- Openers — chain, belt and wall-mount, from every major brand
- Cables, rollers, hinges, drums and bent track
- Doors that have come off the track
- Damaged or rusted panel replacement
- New door supply and installation
- Tune-ups, balance checks and safety sensor alignment
How a visit actually goes
We look at the door first. Then we show you the part that failed, explain what caused it, and give you a total for the repair. Nothing gets replaced until you have agreed to that number.
If the honest answer is that a repair is not worth the money on a door of that age, we will say so and give you the replacement figure as well, so you can compare the two properly. Our trucks carry the parts that fail most often, which is why the majority of repairs finish on the first visit instead of turning into a second appointment the following week.
One thing worth knowing about springs
A garage door is the heaviest moving object in most homes, and the springs that counterbalance it hold a serious amount of stored energy. Adjusting or replacing them without the right tools is genuinely dangerous, and it is the one job on a door we would ask you not to attempt yourself.
If you heard a loud bang from the garage and the door will not lift, that is almost always a spring. Stop pressing the opener button — it can burn out the motor trying to pull against a door it can no longer lift — and give us a call.
Getting hold of us
Call 208-576-2500 and describe what the door is doing. Most of the time we can tell you what has probably failed before anyone drives out.
Why homeowners call us back
Straightforward work, quoted straight
Garage door repair has a reputation problem: surprise pricing, parts that did not need replacing, and technicians who will not explain what they did. We built this business to be the opposite of that.
-
A person answers the phone
You get a real conversation about what your door is doing, not a queue and a callback window that never lands.
-
The price comes before the work
We diagnose the door, show you what failed, and give you the number. Nothing gets replaced until you say so.
-
Trucks stocked for the common failures
Springs, cables, rollers, hinges and opener parts ride with us, so most repairs finish on the first visit.
-
Local, and staying that way
We live in the valley we work in. The reputation we build here is the only advertising that matters.
